BMW M3 2010

From spring 2010, according to high-performance BMW M3 model combines excellent handling with numbers of fuel consumption and further reduce the levels of exhaust emissions. The range of BMW EfficientDynamics measures fitted as standard in the BMW M3 Coupé, BMW M3 Convertible and the BMW M3 Sedan will now be completed by the start automatic stop function. This reduces the average fuel consumption and CO2 levels in the BMW M3 with up to 8 percent or 24 grams of CO2 per kilometer. To narrow profile sporting excellence of the model will also be a competitive package available from spring 2010.

The BMW M3 achieves its exceptional performance with impressive efficiency. Its 4.0 liters V8 high-rev engine 309 kW/420 hp mobilized, allowing for superior acceleration because of its unique propulsion. Besides its fascinating performance characteristics, the 8-cylinder engine - developed exclusively for the BMW M3 - is characterized by an exceptionally high degree of efficiency. Additional efficiency potential is now put to use with the Auto Start Stop. This helps the reader to avoid idling phases when stopping at intersections or traffic jams. To avoid unnecessary consumption of motor fuel when the vehicle stops. As soon as the driver wishes to continue to drive the engine is turned back on immediately.
The automatic start-stop function is used both in cars with manual transmission 6-speed standard and in conjunction with M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic. BMW M3 is the first model - in collaboration with BMW X6 ActiveHybrid, BMW ActiveHybrid 7 - to use this incentive to efficiency in combination with an automated manual transmission.
The increase in efficiency due to the automatic switch off function up to 8 percent of 24 grams of CO2 per kilometer, depending on model and type of transmission. For example, now BMW M3 Coupe with 7-speed M double-clutch and Drivelogic powered by a V8 engine at high rpm with 309 kW/420 hp reached an average fuel consumption test cycle of the EU to 11.2 liters to 100 km (6-speed manual transmission: 12.4 liters). The same figures apply to the BMW M3 Sedan. In the case of the BMW M3 Convertible is the average consumption dropped to 11.5 liters (M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic) or 12.7 liters (manual transmission 6-speed) to 100 km. All versions of the BMW M3 will also meet the standard EU5 exhaust emissions in the future.
Change the rear lights with glass covers with a red uniform to provide additional visual emphasis in the BMW M3 Coupé and the BMW M3 Convertible. With two banks of light illuminating power LED units harmoniously, create a design that night.
